kickin it up a notch

ok, there have been entries in this journal about spicy foods before, but let me show you guys my collection as it stands today....

from left to right we have:Cholula - pretty mild stuff, no real burn to it... used as a staple hot sauce at many popular mexican restaurants including don pablosBlairs Original Death Sauce - Blair is one of the most well known names in the hot sauce world and currently holds the title for having produced the hottest sauce in the world... this isnt it... this is a relatively mild habanero based sauce that was his original creation that got him into the world of spice... pretty garlicky but can add flavor to just about anything... goes really good with chicken!El Yucateco Chile De Habanero - another staple sauce found at many mexican eateries, allthough a few drops of this one will leave you probably wanting a sip of something... not too bad thoughEl Yucateco XXXtra hot chile de habanero - same brand as before, but hotter then the previous one as i believe there may be more varieties of pepper in the recipeThe Hottest Fuckin' Sauce - well, not actually the hottest but this was my first experience into the world of hot sauce extract sauces (they extract the pure spiciness from the peppers for double the heat, its what is used in pepper spray too) This stuff will make your average joe sweat and feel like chugging a glass of milk but believe me, there are WAY more worse sauces then this... this is pathetic compared to the next one....Blairs Mega Death - dear god. this stuff is 550 times hotter then a jalapeno pepper... this is a tomato based sauce (you can taste it for a few milliseconds before the heat kills you) with a nice smoky flavor. nice and thick too... I put a drop on a dorito and in order to get rid of the burn completely i had to chug a full glass of milk and eat a bunch of crackers and string cheese... this stuff hurts and it NOT for the inexperienced... Blairs Queso dip - GOOOOD cheese dip! tastes like a normal cheese dip for a good handful of chips and then you start to sweat and feel the endorphin rush.... it contains fire roasted habaneros, thats why! This stuff is cheap and really tasty!Habanero Rub From Hell - tis is supposed to be used as a dry rub to put on steaks and meats before you barbeque but i use it as an additive to some of my cheese dips and such.... really dry smoky flavor and a tiny bit of bite.... quite tasty but i should really use it what its for on BBQ next timecustom home made spice blend - this is my own personal blend of home grown and home dried habanero, cayenne and jalapeno peppers all crushed up into powder and mixed into one bottle... goes good on everything... really good in salsas and cheese dips!Blairs Death Rain Nitro - i posted a review of this stuff before but put it this way... this is dried and powdered habanero peppers with the Blairs Mega Death sauce i mentioned earlier sprayed over the powder... a pinch of this stuff in a bowl of ramen will leave your lips burning for a whileBlairs Death Rain Chipotle - VERY flavorful powder... contains roasted jalapeno (chipotle) powder as well as some other various spices that are so amazingly awesome when dusted on a dorito!Crushed Red Pepper - the stuff you put on pizza... good additive to anything.stay tuned because i will most lilely be obtaining more hot sauces in the next few months and will post another review similar to this one! Let me know what you think!
