pink

Ok for those who dont know, the pink plastic lawn flamingos you sometimes see in peoples front lawns are going extinct...why you ask? well, because the creator, Don Featherstone, is unable to keep up with rising costs of plastics and materials needed to keep producing these birds. The birds have existed since 1957 and would have celebrated their 50th birthday next year but are unable to nkow that the last ones have been produced. The plant officially closed its doors on wednesday november 1st.This is the day that ebay went NUTS with these things.... you could not find a pair for under $150-$200!! every single site that was selling them online was out of stock and they were no where to be found... even after checkig today, they are still going for around $150!I found a couple little known sites on the internet with my expert searching results that still had these things for $18 a pair. I ordered a pair for myself and am still awaiting packages from two other places so I can make profit on ebay with them! easiest $100+ bucks ive ever made!anyways, dont go thinking that just any old plastic flamingo will sell for this crazy price, you have to have an original Featherstone flamingo from Union Products of MA... check underneath the bird for Don's signature embossed into it. all others are ripoffs.
