from left to right we have original anchor bar buffalo wing sauce, defcon 2 medium, buffalo wild wings hot, and hooters hot.first let me give you guys a little history of the buffalo wing and what is is and isnt.buffalo wings were first prepared in Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY in the 1964. chicken wings were typically thrown away but the idea was hatched to deep fry them and coat them in some sauce. The sauce used was franks red hot sauce (cayenne pepper based sauce available at just about any grocery store) mixed with an equal portion of melted butter in order to stick to the wings. as the years went on, the sauce had some more ingredients added but stayed essentially the same. Most restaurants today use the franks red hot and butter mix.official buffalo wings are NEVER breaded (this is a SIN in buffalo, NY) and are always served with bleu cheese (not ranch... this is also a sin) and celery. america culture has evolved the buffalo wing to basically mean any chicken product coated in hot sauce and butter is a "buffalo wing".anyways, on to the sauce review! first is the original anchor bar sauce. This is the sauce that you will find on your wings, should you ever find yourself at anchor bar in Buffalo, NY. This sauce is pretty decent but to me has a slight to much garlic. The "hotter" flavor of this brand toned down the garlic and added some heat. This sauce is not hot at all. they also have a "suicidal" recipe which looks quite wicked but I have yet to try. next we have the Defcon 2 in Medium. This sauce is a consumer created sauce that was created by a buffalo wing fan and has won numerous awards for best wing sauce at a number of hot sauce and foods competitions. This sauce comes in a cool bottle that looks like medicine but the flavor is absolutely awesome! like your average wing sauce but with a real nice tang and bite that leaves you wanting more. i think this is probably my favorite. they have different degrees of heat but its the medium here that has won all the awards. this still will make you sweat a tiny bit after a few wings covered in it.next is buffalo wild wings hot sauce. This is my favorite flavor from their line of 12 different sauces and what i feel is their most traditional tasting sauce. this stuff is pretty hot for the average wing fan and should definitely be consumed with something to drink. it sneaks up on you. this is probably my second favorite.last is the hooters hot wing sauce. this stuff is pretty good and similar to the defcon 2 sauce except it is an official store bought product so it has been consumerized and left not as flavorful as something that hasnt sat on store shelves for a long time. There is a slight bit of heat here but nothing to sweat about. I think they have dumbed down the heat levels because even the "nine mile island" and "911" flavors at hooters barely make my mouth feel anything anymore. this stuff is pretty rare on store shelves so if you see it, get it. it still deserves to be tasted if you dont fancy a trip to your local hooters!there are many other great buffalo wing sauces out there but i feel that these are the top 4. I will be reviewing more as i get them so stay tuned!

DUMBASSES!
I absolutely HATE spandex wearing bicyclists who think they own the road. like these two A-Holes:

they always do about 10 MPH along the side of the street and you cant pass their slow asses without getting into the oncoming lane of traffic! the funny thing about this picture is, notice the BIKE PATH to their right that probably cost the city thousands to put in for morons like this. This is especially bad around lake calhoun... their bike paths are clearly marked with a stencil of a BIKE directly on the path, every 100 ft or something, yet you still get the "im too good for a path" idiots that ride in the already narrow street! I once saw a car full of hispanics driving around calhoun and they had to swerve to avoid one of these spandex wearing jackholes, so they pulled up next to him and reached out the car and shoved him over and yelled "BIKE PATH" as they sped off. I laughed my ass off!

assault weapons...
The tragedy in virginia yesterday was extremely heartbreaking and words cannot describe how tragic this event was. I am deeply saddened that this happened and it is truly awful.I listened to talk radio all day at work today and as you can imagine this was understandably the only thing that anyone could talk about on air. The main thing that pissed me off extremely bad today, was everyone talking about gun laws and the like. As you are probably all well aware, I do own an UZI "assault weapon" so this touches on an issue that I feel very strongly about. It was mentioned a NUMBER of times that there is a strong possibility that the assault weapons ban that expired a few years back would be reinstated. I would like to take this time to tell you to ask yourself this question... Do you HONESTLY know what an assault weapon is? If the first thought that comes to your mind is "machine gun", then you are sadly mis-informed and you probably think this way because of the propaganda and lies told by the majority of the mainstream media. All machine guns have been banned since 1934 and even before that you had to be a federal firearms dealer or law enforcement to obtain them. A machine gun is any firearm that will repeat firing as long as the trigger is held.An assault weapon is any weapon with two or more of the following features: -folding or telescoping stock -threaded barrel -pistol grip -foward grip (hand grip other than the pistol grip) -barrel shroudNote that it has NOTHING to do with fully automatic fire!!! So every anti-gun person out there using the argument that creating an assault weapons ban will get "machine guns off the streets", is full of shit and wants you to associate all assault weapons with fully automatic weapons, which they actually have nothing to do with.My BIGGEST GRIPE with all of this is the fact that assault weapons are being brought up left and right, yet the killer at Virginia Tech used a Glock 19 PISTOL and a Walther P22 PISTOL.... NEITHER of which comes close to being an "assault weapon"...

The assault weapons ban of 1994 that recently ended did NOTHING. It simply made it so that companies that were producing said weapons could not produce them with the features mentioned above. The DC Sniper used a Bushmaster XM-15 rifle to commit the murders in the beltway area of the eastern US in 2002.

This rifle is a civilian legal, semi-automatic clone of the M16 rifle (fully automatic) that is standard issue with US Marines and used extensively by police forces and military. This rifle is an assault weapon, BUT the specific rifle Malvo used was produced and manufactured and sold legally to him, a non-law enforcement or military citizen, WHILE the assault weapons ban was active. Prior to the assault weapons ban, this gun would have had a bayonet lug and possibly a threaded barrel and would come sold with 30 round magazines/clips. Upon the setting of the ban, all Bushmaster firearms had to do was simply get rid of these insignificant features and they were still able to sell the rifles that average people wouldnt be able to tell the difference in anyways. This specific gun used did not have a telescoping stock but many of Bushmaster's other rifles do. At the time of the ban passing, all Bushmaster had to do was weld the stock in an open position and that made it pass regulation. The fact is that yes, the BAN did pass, but there were (and still are) still countless numbers of the pre-ban guns in existence, fully equipped with threaded barrels, folding stocks and all that "bad stuff"!!! The prices of these guns just increased because people still wanted them. Government did nothing and still cant do anything about the countless number of assault weapons that existed before the ban passed. Now, lets take a look at another tragedy... The Columbine shootings of 8 years ago. The killers used a number of different weapons including a sawed off shotgun (good luck EVER banning shotguns!!) and an Intratec TEC-9.
(upper right corner)The media wanted you to believe that this Tec-9 was a machine gun like I have mentioned before, but it was NOT. You can go to any gun show to this day and find a number of them on sale to civilians. They are your average ordinary 9mm pistol that just looks mean.

In the 80's they had a shroud around the barrel with holes in it to help with heat as well as a threaded barrel, as shown above, but the assault weapons band deemed that "dangerous" so Intratec just made their guns as you see in the picture above of all the Columbine weapons... No threaded barrel or extension. They also sold them with smaller capacity magazines/clips (do I have to mention the hundreds of thousands of mags already produced before the ban out there that could hold 32 rounds??). My point here is that the gun used in Columbine that the media wants you to think is a fully automatic machine gun, was in fact a semi automatic 9mm pistol, manufactured DURING the assault weapons ban!!!!Then there is the famous North Hollywood Shootout in which two masked bank robbers robbed a bank and walked out with AK-47's and fired at everything in sight for an hour. THESE were illegally obtained machine guns! Not what the media says is "commonly available" and tells you are the types of weapons that are readily avaiable without background checks at gunshows. Oh P.S. it took me MONTHS to pass FBI background checks in order to obtain a license to get my UZI, and /i urge ANYONE reading this to try buying an "assault rifle" at a gunshow without them asking for your permit to purchase!!!My UZI is a SEMI automatic 9mm PISTOL that fires ONE shot with every pull of the trigger. I bought it DURING the assault weapons ban. I have six 32 round PRE-ban magazines for it that were produced before the ban.

During the ban I could have still went and obtained as many 32 rounders as I wanted. There is an EXTREME surplus of the things. Point here: the ban did NOT "ban UZIs and AK47's" (like i keep drilling into your heads) which is what every anti-gun person wants weak minded people to believe! My point is that the cosmetic features that were deemed dangerous and inappropriate on assault weapons are what made the ban, and contrary to what 99% of the public believes, NOT a permanent "end-all" ban on "machine guns" (which, as I have mentioned, have been completely banned since 1934!) Also, no matter what the government tries to ban, there will always be loopholes around it and not to mention the insane amount of already produced "assault weapons" already out there. Oh, and there is no hope in taking these guns away because it is in the constitution, and that is a topic that will be argued about with no results until the end of time! ALSO lets not forget the black market! The bigger the ban, the bigger the black market! (edit: as of this writing, it was noted on the news that the guns used in the Virginia Tech massacre had their serial numbers etched off. A CLEAR sign that they were purchased on the black market illegally!)My other main point is that the media is bringing all of this up when it has NOTHING to do with yesterday at all! There were no assault weapons used at any time! Last thing... If ANY of you try to associate me with the likes of the Virginia Tech killer or even think that i would EVER be that sick in the head just because I own and UZI and play Grand Theft Auto, go choke on a piece of your own shit.p.s. Karl, I dont want to argue about this. This is about the ban and the fact that media keeps trying to bring it up at inappropriate times, not my ownership or the "need" for firearms. That post will come at a later time! ;)

Ok this is from two saturdays ago at the minneapolis auto show.. pretty much the only car worth taking pictures of... the Audi R8.... this is the car that was in the movie I Robot with will Smith, only that one was a modified one to look all futuristic. This thing is audis fastest car and has some really sleek looking lines. Base price starts at about $110,000.
