8 seven times
ever wondered what would happen if you dial certain numbers on the phone by just keeping on pressing them? well if you do the number eight, seven times, you reach this place... its a liquor store over in richfield. When me and my friend dustin were really young we would spend our summer days prank calling these guys... may fun conversations were had with them... the best was when we asked for jesus.... or the time they picked up and we shouted as many swear words as loud as we could until they hung up...we are the reason this place got caller ID....

BOO!
Its that time of the year again! the best cereal in the entire world is on store shelves (mainly target and walmart) for a very limited time (halloween season). this stuff tastes like blueberries and has lots of sugary marshmallows in it too! this stuff has existed since 1971 and now only comes around during its season, and when it does, its REALLY damn hard to find. There are two other cereals in the line that are awesome as well. count chocula (available year round... has chocolate cereal bits with marshmallows) and frankenberry, which is even rarer then boo berry (contains cherry/strawberry cereal bits and marshmallows). this stuff is seriously awesome and im stocking up for the non-halloween season, i suggest you do the same.by the way, a crisp $5 dollar bill will go to the first person to find frankeberry on a store shelf for me.

trees
yep, the trees are starting to change color. i figured id take a well planned out shot using some of the actual functions on my camera like the "foliage" feature in order to capture some bright colors in the greenery around my house. these trees turned out nice. i left the picture really huge so you can see the detail. works quite nice as a computer desktop wallpaper

creepy trail
this is a little trail that me and my friend dustin found... its an offroad trail for jeeps and stuff and this LAKE is at the beginning of it. You have to have a pretty beefed up truck to get through this crap in order to get to the actual trail. We didnt venture too far down the trail because it was midnight and almost pitch black once we got off the main road. when I go back ill take some scenic photos during the day.
italian cars!
Ok here are the photos from Wheels of Italy 2006 which happened at the Lake Calhoun Executive Plaza on the 10th (i know im late posting these, i just hate uploading tons of pictures)It was a rainy and cold day but that didnt stop anyone from coming out and sowing some really nice cars!oh, and unlike last year, i will only be showcasing my favorites, fuck ferrari.

the REAL american hero
good news!!! GI JOE is returning to its old style of single blister packs of the original style bad ass action figures! no more of this 8 inch tall, dis-proportionate, japanese anime-style bullshit they have been shoving at us for the past years! (see the thing that says "sigma" on it next to the real ones? thats the stupid crap im talking about) These new ones are EXACTLY how i remember them from back when i used to play with them. with guns that resemble real guns and not space blasters and tiny ass details on every last piece. no more of this 4 point articulation on these monster figures so you cant move them, its back to the 12 points where you can move every last feature for the ultimate badass pose!

if you are a parent of a little boy right now, do yourself a favor and get him these. in BULK. FUCK spongebob and pokemon, bring your kid up right by NOT turning him into a little pussy. if i find out that you bought him the "fireman bob playset" or something equally as queer, ill come over and stomp the piss out of it as i throw GI Joes at your son's head.

sunRISE
ok first time ive ever been up to see the sun RISE instead of always seeing it set at night... I messed with the contrast in the pic to give a better representation of what i saw this morning because my camera couldnt quite capture it on its own... plus the silhouette of the trees just looks cool as hell....

air show!!
Ok, here are pics from the airshow that me and my GF atended on August 19th. It was at Volk Field in Wisconsin, about a three hour drive from the cities here. It was WELL worth the trip just for the stealth fighter alone. anyways, here are the pics:F18 Hornet:

F16 Falcon:

C130 Hercules (from Minneapolis National. Guard):

KC135 Tanker... the big boom on the back swings down and re-fuels aircraft in flight:

T38 Talon?... trainer aircraft:

A10 Warthog / Tankbuster... This thing has a large gatling gun on the front that fires bullets bigger then coke bottles. They rip apart tanks in a matter of seconds as you can see in the other pics:

UH60 Blackhawk:

CH47 Chinook:

CH47 inside:

F-117a Nighthawk / Stealth Fighter... There were two of these here. One took off as we got there and did a couple flybys and then left to do flybys at some other airshows and returned and landed three hours later:

second aircraft after landing:

Humvee... I am getting one of these eventually (minus the troop carrier cargo top):

HEMTT (High Expandable Multi Task Truck):

M35 Troop Carrier:

Volk Field also has a national guard museum in the middle of a field where you first come in...A10 Warthog:

A7 Corsair:

Old Tanks:

UH1 Huey:

Cobra Attack helicopter:

thats all!!
