Anatov

I was out driving today and glanced up in the sky and saw this huge monstrosity coming in for a landing:



This is the Russian Antonov AN-124 and it is the second largest mass-produced aircraft in the world! Of course I had to get to the airport fenceline to get a nice shot!

Test Cell

So Mollys dad works for Delta and last week I had a chance to visit the test cell where they work on aircraft engines. Here are some pics.

this is KFCs new sandwich, the double down:



it is two pieces of chicken around two pieces of bacon, two melted slices of Monterey Jack and pepper jack cheese and Colonel's Sauce. The original recipe (fried) version has 540 calories, 32g of fat and 1380mg of sodium. The grilled one has 460 calories, 23g of fat and 1430mg of sodium.

Saw this semi carrying three armored military humvees. I still want one.

Evora!

The new lotus evora was in town for a special three day showing at the local lotus delaer. this is one of VERY few in the country right now and is currently touring dealerships so people can get to test drive and inspect it for possible future purchases. My lotus club was invited for a special after hours showing / party at the dealership.




dealer also had a 2006 aston martin vanquish s for sale too!

flaming van spotted last week. no one injured. pretty cool though!

Big ass fan

this fan is a fan tha tis at ikea... the whole thing is about as wide as my entire house... it is about three times as big as a helicopter rotor... the funny thing is, the brand name on it in the center (not really visible in this pic) is called "Big Ass Fans"... i kid you not...

Peppers!

just to test the close up feature on the iphone 3gs camera i shot some peppers... came out pretty good... now i want some spicy food!

Commercial

Last tuesday there was a commercial being filmed for Caribou Coffee at southdale with little puppets as the actors.... I had no idea that so much equipment was involved for a 30 second tv commercial.... anyways, look for it cus theres a slight chance ill be in the background haha!

Cereal!

Haloween is right around teh corner which means that stores are starting to carry my two favorite cereals, Boo Berry and FrankenBerry...



note the smaller boxes at the top of the shelves. these are fruit by the foot in boo berry and frankenberry boxes but dont be fooled, they are just strawberry and blueberry flavored fruit by the foots and taste nothing like their ceral counterparts... pathetic marketing.

ok, since i started loving teh aston martin even more ive seen more and more of them... heres a nice v8 vantage at a place down the street from my house...

went to Morries Maserati today because i heard they got a new super rare car in.... it is called the Spyker C8.... made by a dutch company that used to produce aircraft before world war 2... the design influences are very evident.



there was also an Aston Martin V8 Vantage roadster outside... i think this might have to be my next car:
