exotics

Went to Morries Maserati a few days ago and got some pics of some ultra rare cars....

First up is a 2009 Aston Martin DBS. This is the same model of car that was used in the James Bond movie "Casino Royale". They only want $223,500 for this one! What a steal!

Second we have a 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. This is one of 84 destined for the US and one of TWO for sale right now. Top speed is 181 mph. They want $309,995 for it. Ill take two.

oh, Twins player Joe Mauer stopped by with his Plymouth Prowler while i was there too:

fireworks!

saw the fireworks at the taste of minnesota last night and i must say that was probably one of the top 3 fireworks displays ive ever seen in my life. the finale consisted of nothing but those ones that flash really bright and then boom REALLY loud a second after. i almost had a seizure there was so many. anyways, here are the few pics that actually turned out:

cars and coffee

is that time of the month again... haha, no its tome for the monthly cars and coffee in chanhassen at the auto motorplex... this time a friend from the local lotus club that im in showed up and came in the exact car that i had looked at prior to purchasing mine. glad it went to a good owner!

there was also my second favorite car there, a delorean with only 5000 miles on it:

Mulberries!

so ive been living at this house for a LONG time now and only just this last weekend realized that there are berries growing on the bush beside our garage... i did some research and found out that they are mulberries... they dont have much of a taste but i guess if you picked a whole ton of them and ate them, it would be pretty good. there are a few dark ones that are ripe and ready for picking but the ajority of the bush still has the green ones on it...

Rainbow

Ok so I've taken many sunset and sunrise and other weather related photos but this is the first timeivebeen able to capture a rainbow! And it was all thanks to the new iPhones camera and the fact that I was able to take a photo while driving cus there was no one around. The clouds were pretty cool too.

by the way, everything here from the picture to the blog postwas done directly from my phone! I'm loving this thing!

Survivorman

Les Stroud, also knowsn as "Survivorman" has a series on the discovery channel called "Survivorman", where he goes out into the wilderness for weeks at a time with no one else, no film crew or companions, and survives off the land while filming himself. He teaches the viewer how to do certain things so that if they were ever in the situation, they could be able to survive it. He has covered every possible region and climate that one could find themselves in and has made three seasons of the show.

Anyways, he was at the mall of america to talk about his experisnces and sign his new survival book so of course i had to go out there.

here he is talking:
