air show!!
Ok, here are pics from the airshow that me and my GF atended on August 19th. It was at Volk Field in Wisconsin, about a three hour drive from the cities here. It was WELL worth the trip just for the stealth fighter alone. anyways, here are the pics:F18 Hornet:

F16 Falcon:

C130 Hercules (from Minneapolis National. Guard):

KC135 Tanker... the big boom on the back swings down and re-fuels aircraft in flight:

T38 Talon?... trainer aircraft:

A10 Warthog / Tankbuster... This thing has a large gatling gun on the front that fires bullets bigger then coke bottles. They rip apart tanks in a matter of seconds as you can see in the other pics:

UH60 Blackhawk:

CH47 Chinook:

CH47 inside:

F-117a Nighthawk / Stealth Fighter... There were two of these here. One took off as we got there and did a couple flybys and then left to do flybys at some other airshows and returned and landed three hours later:

second aircraft after landing:

Humvee... I am getting one of these eventually (minus the troop carrier cargo top):

HEMTT (High Expandable Multi Task Truck):

M35 Troop Carrier:

Volk Field also has a national guard museum in the middle of a field where you first come in...A10 Warthog:

A7 Corsair:

Old Tanks:

UH1 Huey:

Cobra Attack helicopter:

thats all!!

el presidente!
Bush came to town today for god-knows-what, so I got to see air force one parked at the airport for two seconds before secret service told me to get out of the area.

when i got back to my house i found out that the motorcade would be driving right by my house on 494... i got a couple shots of the two presidential limos (they use two just in case someone tries to blow one up.. that way theres a chance they might hit the wrong one)...
